Private rooms vs bar karaoke

Open-mic karaoke in a busy bar means sharing the stage with strangers. At Level 8 you book a private room for your own group: club-quality sound, big screens, microphones, and space to order food and drinks without leaving the room. That private-room format is what most people mean when they search for KTV in Manchester.

What a 3-hour session includes

A standard booking is a 3-hour session in your private room. Room time starts from your confirmed booking time (late arrivals are not extended). During the session you use your per-person minimum spend as credit toward food and drinks from our menu. Any unused minimum spend or bar credit at the end of the session is not refundable.

We are open 6pm–6am, seven days a week. Online bookings are available from 6:00pm through to 3:00am start times.

Private KTV rooms and group sizes

Party room — larger celebrations (minimum 15 people, subject to availability)

Friday and Saturday minimum party sizes

Peak nights have higher minimums: on Fridays and Saturdays the minimum is 3 people for 6pm slots, and 4 people for bookings after 9:15pm. Book early for weekends — those slots fill first.

Karaoke prices and deposits

Pricing is a £25 per person minimum spend on food and drinks, with no separate room hire fee for standard sessions. A deposit is required for all bookings (weekday deposits are typically £10; Fridays and Saturdays may be higher by group size). How to get here from Piccadilly and the city centre

Level 8 KTV is at 44 Canal Street, Manchester M1 3WD, in the Gay Village area of the city centre. From Piccadilly Gardens or Manchester Piccadilly station it is a short walk (about 10–15 minutes) or a quick tram/taxi hop to Canal Street. The location works well for karaoke before or after nearby bars and clubs.

Tips for a better night

Arrive a little early so you can order food and drinks before the first song.
Share song picks in advance so everyone gets a turn on the mic.
Book ahead for Fridays and Saturdays — peak slots go quickly.
